HALLELUJAH.......

....We got some rain at last.
But that didn't stop P and I going out for a jaunt...well to be honest it nearly did but we persevered and decided to see what the landscape was like with the clouds spilling over the hills.
They day (and clouds) didn't disappoint and we trundled around taking our time marveling at the lovely diffused light and how the colours were so saturated with the rain on them.

We came across some wonderful old buildings...clouds dripping and flowing over mountains...lots of Jacarandah trees....bright red birdies...and some rather gorgeous looking trees...
I have blipped this old house before..... in memory of  Sarum Stroller but it looked like a very different dereliction today in the rain.

We stopped for a while ate some yum yums and drank the hot tea that we brought with us just enjoying the surrounds and flapping our gums........there is always so much to talk about with us two and he really is one of my favorite folk to hang out with.
