Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Flock

I walked over to the far corner of the moor for the first time in a couple of months, a weak autumn sun joining me sporadically.

A good sized flock of Fieldfare was the wildlife highlight, with today's image showing a few of them perched atop one of the trees at Birch Close Lane, with the distinctive masts of Wrose Hill a couple of miles to the rear.

Returning through the scout camp at Sconce, I found the place alive, and dead, with a medieval battle reenactment. I slid quietly through and escaped to tell the tale.
