Ratherheath Tarn

Out and about after another half day of the conference. Perhaps the most entertaining session was a guy in 16C garb demonstrating the use of a 16' pike , in case any of our ancestors were pikemen. I think if they were, they would not have had a long life. The autumn colours at Ratherheath Tarn were not as colourful as the session but the presenter moved around so much all my pictures of the use of pike/ musket/ sword are blurred.
