Should have chopped it.

One of my Venus fly-traps decided to flower. opinions seem divided, some say cut it off it then doesn't put energy into setting seed. Others are happy to let it seed, sow them and increase stock &/or swap plants for others different ones.
I also learnt, recently, thatit seems they will root & produce a plant if you "top" them put them into the compost in the pot. Coicidentally, I've just seen a clip on plant propagation by odd means and it appears that a single leaf laid on the top will root & start a plant. - Maybe next year.
I left the flower jut in order to see it, first time around.
