Gently down the stream

The Wedding Gates

These hand-forged stainless steel gates (centre) stand in Winchester's Great Hall, opposite Henry VIII's Round Table.  I've never thought they get enough attention from visitors.  Their job is to divide the 13th century Medieval hall from the twentieth century lawcourts.  Perhaps a bit unfortunately they were put up to commemorate the wedding of Charles and Diana in 1981.

So this is my entry for Bobsblips WideWednesday challenge, today on the subject of 'man-made'.  They were made by local(ish) craftsman Anthony Robinson

Thanks, Bob.

And have a great evening, all  xx

Sorry, just decided to change the shot to give more context..
