The Old Forge (Wednesday 6th November 2019)

Diary blip. There has been a bit of a hiatus renovating the outbuilding, unfortunately leaving all the equipment in there dismantled. However this morning the fitters came to install the underlay and carpet, which means that if I can remember how to connect all the wires and cables and devices together and get everything working, it should be more comfortable and much warmer underfoot.
I meant to photograph the floor while the building was still empty, but the fitters were too quick for me and brought the contents back in. This old armchair doubles as one of Smokey's scratching posts.
There is still a small amount of fixtures, fitting and decorating to be done in there.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Four Tops - Seven Rooms Of Gloom (recorded 6 November 1966, Hitsville, Detroit MI)
Recorded on this day in 1966, this song features James Jamerson's bass panning across the stereo spectrum (but not on the mono single!). My propert has seven rooms, hopefully less gloomy.
