1st Birthday Party

This proves I have gone totally mad!!

Bella was invited to her Best Buddy Willows 1st Birthday Party!!!

There were 6 dogs in total, it was total bedlam, Willow had presents and cake and the 'parents' all sat about laughing, comparing dog tricks, drinking Prosecco and eating party food.

I wasn't quite sure what had happened after I left!!!

Bella was the model guest. She wore her party hat as if she liked it, she waited her turn for her bit of tuna cake and had a good look through her party bag before she left. The tennis ball that was in it lasted all of 7.4 seconds before it was in a million pieces!!!

It was fun but I won't be doing the same thing for Bella in 2 weeks!!!

Before the party, Mr W had to pick his sister up from St Thomas' where she had her gall bladder out and take her to The Queen Vic in East Grinstead where her husband was having his first consultation after being diagnosed with Parkinson's. They then came back to ours for a chat and a debrief. He has been told not to invest in a new fishing trawler and not to make plans beyond 5 years. It was devastating news for him as he's got 7 more years before he retires. They were both understandably very upset.

I'm glad we had the party to help lift our spirits again after that.
