Special Cookies For A Special Event

Yes, it was the last day of our study of the book of Esther where we learned about the wisdom of trusting God's plan. but we could have celebrated that with any  cookies.  These cookies, called Hamantaschen,, specifically commemorate the.salvation of the Jews when Haman had plotted to destroy them all and would have succeeded if not for Esther's faithfulness and willingness to trust God's plan and timing.  These were not the only Hamantaschen we had today, but they were the only ones with a label, so they get their fifteen minutes of fame-----and, yes, they were delicious!
