Morning Wander

Today Simon and I had a leisurely breakfast at the Saracen's Head, then I went out for a wander around the Minster grounds, with both cameras - my Nikon bridge, and a used Canon 40D that I'm trying out. The main thing I can't get over is how lunky it is! Why does it need to be so big and heavy? 

Anyway, the hard frost last night must have turned a few more leaves, and the slanting early morning sun was gorgeous. Irresistible. 

We also toured around some villages up and down the Trent valley (which was very flooded in places!). Didn't gain any particular new information but it was fun and useful in other ways.
