A different train

I had a wander this morning to the station at Tenterden on the Kent and East Sussex Railway. A different proposition to the west coast mainline yesterday. There aren't any trains running at the moment as there's a lot of maintenance to be done on the line and general infrastructure. I was allowed to walk round taking photographs of the old engines and carriages. This one has a first, second and third class compartment. It's a treasure trove for railway enthusiasts.

The weather has cheered up a lot since we arrived at a horribly wet Ashford station last night. After lunch the plan is a visit to the tearoom at Appledore which I believe serves cake. Sounds good to me.
