It's been a productive, love filled day for the Gossages today.

Si popped to the bank and came back with bunches of flowers fir me for the second week on the bounce, his NY resolution is holding strong. Ermmmmm, I bought him a sausage roll from the farm shop - doesn't quite compare does it!

I was up early and worked a couple of hours then headed to the local farm shop for our weekly veg shop - so much cheaper and better quality there. Then to M&S for the Dine for 2 meal which will be tonight's dinner, yummy, and the remaining few bits were bought from Sainsbury's. We are tightening our belts - talk of an abroad holiday together for the first time in four years is the incentive. We have never, ever left the dogs but 2013 could be the year we leave them with our parents.......sun or New York are on the short list.......

Home for lunch and ironing and I've now stopped for the day....that's it I'm done!

The Blip is, obviously Stanley and, a chair we inherited with the house. The chair is ancient and unbelievably comfortable - good old vintage Laura Ashley - and we keep saying we will get it reupholstered......4 years of saying this, I wonder if we actually will though!

Feet up in the snug with a roaring fire, bliss :)
