Seeing Beyond Looking

By SandraSuisse

Peripheral view

A lovely sunny day allowing normally hidden things come into view, thanks to the light.  Walking along to go to an appointment, I knew I wanted to linger in a particular street on my way back.
In the corner of my eye, I could see something luminous and turned my head to see this pretty view over the fence and through a garden with arcades of beautiful hanging vines.

The word 'subtle' was used to describe our capture today. So I could say, that through the subtle darkness in that garden, my eyes were pulled to bathe in the light and colour beyond. The framing of the vines made it special for me. It was a wonderful and sunny moment! I'm glad I lingered!
