....the mother and child reunion.......

Charlie brought her parents to visit this afternoon.

As per usual I was up and out early for bait this morning....it wasn't difficult to get up as the Boss was called in to work for an emergency shift last night...and we all know how well I sleep when she's not here.

So....wide awake at 5.30...despite staying up until midnight....and being awake at 2.20 and 3.40....and out of the house by 7.30. Home....bait stored in a cold garage..... back out to visit the rest of the boys....home again by twelve.....car insurance details changed over the phone, interesting conversation with the NHS.
Boss up at 2.00 p.m.....pottering about all afternoon and the visitors arrived at 5.00.

Charlie is at that age where she is learning new words every day...and learning other things as well.....she kept us all entertained....until someone(who shall remain nameless) gave her one of his umpires whistles....she learned how to blow it very quickly....then she learned how to blow it louder.....and louder....and louder!
Eventually we had to take it off her to preserve our sanity...and eardrums!

They've all gone home now....the Daughter is going out soon....and I'm off for an early night. It's bloody freezing....there's a frost....I'm picking Shaun up at 8.00....and the temperature is not expected to get above 4 degrees........what we fishermen will put up with!

The water temp will be very low........the fish won't be feeding....... and Shaun and I have already decided that if the pond is frozen so we have to break the ice to fish....we're not going to....we're going somewhere for a breakfast and then we're going back to the bosoms of our families.....and to watch United beat Liverpool!

Das vidanya moy padruga.
