Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Dance at the Frye

It worked with my day to stop at the Frye Art Museum to catch the short performance by Seattle’s Spectrum Dance Co. showcasing the work of Donald Byrd who is the subject of the exhibition there..  will add the link if you’d like to read more about this prolific artist. .   Famous for social justice, cultural and gender identity subjects , he moved from NYC to Seattle in 2002 and will present a new dance at Pacific Northwest Ballet’s ”Locally Sourced” program this week.  But I read that the new dance is about Beauty!   I just can’t believe how these bodies can move like they do.   Looking forward to that on Sunday.
