Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Beauty

Took a longer walk than usual today….out the door and though a green belt near where we used to live and bike and run our dog.     I though this this retaining wall was beautiful with the natural mosses and the graffiti and a little bit of light and a crack.     An abstracted nature  photo on my other journal…

Our governor has announced that today Nov 15 is the most dangerous public health day our state has had for over 100 years.   And the new restrictions for at least the next month are almost back to the March levels.      All shut down.   Won’t change a whole lot for us…except I finally had a timed reservation for the Art Museum this week that won’t be open.  Sigh.

I want to make a comment/report tho about the online Seattle Opera production in this extraordinary pandemic time…. they actually staged the opera that was planned for now…with no chorus, no orchestra, only 5 singers (who had to be 20 ft from anyone else when singing but otherwise, 6 ft.  Donizetti’s Elixer of Love is a love story so there had to be some very creative staging!!   2 masked pianists onstage and a couple of solo instruments.  An entirely new way of thinking and providing the arts…very bold and innovative.    But of course a skeleton crew.    All those behind the scenes worker not working, how can this go on and on….….big sigh.

Extra.....OH Oh..already? seen in a nearby yard..
