Fun at the beach

The children were so good today. After breakfast Ella did her homework- sentences using her 10 spellings, a whole sheet of work on adverbs including sentences made up, and Spanish. She tested me on that! After he’d done his reading Nathaniel spent the time drawing sea creatures then cut them out and they both played with them, making up games with them. They were so busy they forgot to ask for TV.

After lunch we took the camper van to Alnmouth Beach (£7 to park there in the summer now. Do they think it’s Cornwall?). It was freezing but they chased about happily and after a snack in the van we took them home.

We’ve all had a great time.
