Another blipmeet ....

.... in Boston this time!

We had another wonderful day with more special blip friends! 

Since we had made plans to go Hanover for our blipmeet yesterday I had gotten in touch with DDW, who lives in Boston for a potential meet up. She very kindly and generously opened their home for us to stay the night.  We arrived earlier than planned as there were Veterans Day parades scheduled that could prevent us from getting to their place when we had originally planned.

But they welcomed us with open arms! After arriving and visiting for a while we took Mabel for a walk in Boston Common .... where I was able to feed the very friendly squirrels.  I even stroked one on top of his head as he took the peanut from my hand! In my extra you can see just one of the many, many squirrels that make their homes in Boston Common. 

We went back to their beautiful apartment to drop off Mabel (also seen in my extra!) and then had a wonderful lunch together.  After lunch we went for a nice long walk along the Rose Kennedy Greenway (almost 2 miles) seeing many great Boston landmarks .... including the Chinatown Gate, the Boston Tea Party boat (replica) and South Station .... all seen in the extra collage. The blue and green building is across the street from D & R's apartment building and this is where we had supper.

The Paramount building is right next door to their apartment and I took this main shot after dinner.  I'm quite pleased with it as it's a handheld night shot with the Panasonic!

We had another wonderful day .... D & R are exceptional friends and we enjoy spending time with them .... and we got to meet Mabel for the first time.  Thank you for a fantastic evening! ♥
