White Horse

Another great day we have had....and the weather has been sunny although the wind a little pesky.

We did some supermarket shopping this morning, then I met blipper Twigs for a coffee.....two hours later !!!  We seem to have lots in common and never short of conversation.  We have met up many times over the years, either here in Nelson, or when she is in Timaru (or passing through).  A lovely and interesting lady.

This gorgeous grey lives just out the back of our friends, she has lots of friends in the paddock all shapes, colours and sizes.  They live in the most beautiful area, with lovely trees.  These horses belong to the RDA (Riding for the Disabled).

Joan and I went for a walk this afternoon, walking around the local streets and enjoying the beautiful spring gardens.

Speaking of gardens......we hear via a phone call from our neighbours this afternoon that our garden is not in good shape after a hail storm dumped bigger than golf ball stones in South Canterbury and Timaru. Cars have dents all over them, windows and roofs  damaged etc.

Tomorrow we're off on our adventure.
