Home Again

Oh it's lovely to be home, although I had a terrific time visiting my sister. It was fortunate timing too, since my dad was admitted to the hospital today after having an angina attack - the 2nd in two weeks. At almost 91, it's awfully scary. Fortunately there's three of us children in the area, with a fourth not so far away, so plenty of help, support and love for both mom and dad. 

Another lovely day in Portland...one of these days the rain will come and we'll start to hibernate. But till then, plants in the garden are still alive, like this Calendula (or Pot Marigold) which was in full bloom this morning after a heavy dew. The weeds are growing like crazy and I must make the time to get into the garden before it rains!
