Towards the look out tower.

The farmers have been out with their hedge cutter attachments. This is the view from the Village Hall front door. There is a look out tower on the hill opposite  which I have yet to locate when out walking. 
 A village soup and sandwich lunch  get together in the village hall gave Mr P some relief from putting together a new bed base in our spare room. He was a bit nervous about turning up incase it was all women, but the chance to have soup , sandwiches, tea and biscuits for £2 was too much for him to resist.   The new bed base did arrive today as planned and the new mattress should arrive tomorrow when Son R is also arriving. We need his muscle  so he can help us move the beds around.  Best laid plans.............. I give it a 50/50 chance
