Warwickshire day 4: Compton Verney

Today we went to Compton Verney - a Palladian house in huge grounds designed by Capability Brown. It's now an art gallery and this is some of the art. It's a house made from recycled materials and as far as I can work out it's being left unattended until 2020 to see what happens. Inside the big house there's an interesting collection of 17C Neapolitan art, very early Chinese artefacts and British folk art. There was also an interesting Magnum Photography exhibition on the top floor.
An the little thatched building is an ice house.
