Kwik Fit came to put the winter tyres on the car this morning.  It can snow anytime now :-)

Lin was supposed to pop in for coffee this afternoon on her way home from down south, so given that it was so miserable outside and the Aga is now belting out heat again, I made some homemade scones.  

Sadly the weather on her journey was so bad she was greatly delayed and, quite literally, had to take a rain check.  

So we had a lazier day then planned.
