Walking through the woods.

The leaves were solid underfoot this morning and the paths still slippery if you weren't careful;  the ground here looks level but it's actually quite steep so it was a bit hazardous on the descent.  We thought that once we'd reached the bottom of the hill all was well but we then we had to negotiate the stream which was very swollen and involved getting our feet wet.

All in all despite the obstacles it was a good walk, but I was very pleased to get back home again.
