Red Devil

The last few leaves on one of the red devil apple trees in the community orchard. The leaves are lovely in themselves but look at the sky! Such a beautiful day after the dreich, dreary spell we've had.

Met one of my oldest friends for lunch today and had an excellent catch up. I'm home alone for a few days so I decided to have a 'proper lunch' and do away with the need to cook anything tonight. I'm looking forward to a snack and an early night.
