The Ilsleys

The last time we travelled this route it was high summer. I am a passenger at this moment. For the first time in weeks - a largely cloudless sky, good weather to travel.

Lots of familiar milestones on the way down. The big dip as we approach the Ilsleys is one of them - although I was not quick enough on the draw to achieve the best shot.

A big milestone has gone, however. No cooling towers at Didcot.

Arrived at our destination after a 6 hour journey ( with a brief stop to order a tree). The relaxing evening with an excellent meal was very welcome. Learnt a bit about varieties of saxophone too
