Declan

Back blip

Saturday was cold. The plastic seats at the Falkirk Stadium were cold too. However, I was a brave wee soldier (or a daft lump, make your own choice) and went along to watch the Bairns play bottom-of-the-league Stranraer.

It wasn't a match that had a lot of excitement (or maybe it was just that the weather had frozen us into apathy) but Falkirk played well enough in patches and scored three goals without reply. The way our season is going I'll take that result. Our new interim management team now have a record of played two, won two but sterner tests await.

My photo shows the Falkirk No.9 Declan McManus scoring the first goal of the afternoon and his tenth goal of the season. My blip-gap has now been filled.
