Weihnachtsmarkt in Speyer

Some of us still had the energy to drive quite a long way tonight to see a German Christmas market. These are Doug (USA), Chloe (Austalia), Fay (NZ), Dave (from our church in Sutton), and Tobias (Germany). We enjoyed the gluhwein (got to keep the pretty glass mugs) and hot mini doughnuts with chocolate sauce. It was freezing. All so beautifully decorated, with real fir trees and gorgeous crafts, I bought a hand carved wooden decoration for Julia and Natalie's tree in Manchester.

Gratefuls:
- Tobias driving us such a long way when he could have been home with his family
- surviving these days, enjoying it, learning lots, and making new friends
- that I don't have to get up early in the morning, like the folk driving ten hours back to Croatia
