Mossy Boulder

A beautiful crisp clear morning so we took advantage of it and went out early (well, after the school run finished) for our walk.

Spotted this little mossy boulder sitting over a drainage ditch - which still had plenty of water running in it. The low sun (this was taken at around 10:15) has nicely highlighted the surface of the boulder. An added bonus was the patch of light on the grassy bank and tree in the background. The textures are so much better in LARGE

The scab has finally dropped off Finlay’s wound - and there’s nice pink patch of new skin on his side. He has the cone of shame off for a while to let him wash himself, but it will have to go back on later when I cannot supervise him. Don’t want him chewing at the new skin :-)
