The tree inspector

Another day of expectations not being met workwise...but enough of that.  Yesterday we finally had a new dining room carpet fitted.  The previous one had a long replacement strip (in a slightly different colour from the original) down one side where a certain feline who is no longer with us, had used the site as her own personal toilet until we gave in and placed a lit tray nearby...it's nice to have lost the patchwork effect we've lived with for a year!
With the carpet in and furniture returned to the room we were able to put up the dining room tree.  Violet, who has a regular sleepover with us on Tuesdays, was on hand to place the first decorations.
Somehow couldn't manage a Tiny Tuesday image today, too many things to worry think about.
