Souvenir

This Advent calendar caught my eye in one of the museum stores I visited on our October visit to New Mexico. It's a lovely reminder of the very different landscape, architecture, and culture in that fascinating state.

I haven't opened any of the little "windows" yet, as Whatcom Chorale work (I'm on the board) and rehearsals have been my focus. Handel's "Messiah" will ring out at the Mount Baker Theatre this Saturday evening! 

I'm immensely grateful that the weather continues to be milder than usual at this time of year, with rain, rather than snow.
