Life through the lens...

Magical.

What a beautiful day.
Woke to clear sky, and then sunshine all the way.
After another delicious breakfast, we walked from Weybourne along the coastal path towards Sheringham.
Then called in to The North Norfolk Wild Life Trust at Cley for coffee. A cheese scone for me. Just can’t resist!
On to Wells next the sea, and we walked out along the banking to the sea.
Just glorious weather. The sea sparkled. Two fighter planes flew over and about a hundred geese flew up into the air. What a fantastic sight.

Our last stop was Holkham Hall where we had booked a candlelight tour.
Oh my, it was breathtaking.
Started off with Prosecco and mince pies, before entering the magnificent marble hall.
So much to see but I have chosen this photo of the Ice Queen for my blip.
A winter wonderland of Origami by Norfolk based couturier Henrietta Faire was breathtaking.
All made of paper, and just exquisite.
A closeup as an extra.
Called at the Anchor Pub, Morston for our evening meal. My smoked haddock chowder really warmed me up.
What a great end to our short break.
( some more photos on extras)

Have tagged this for Wide Wednesday as the challenge is “ light”.

Today’s Advent Joke.
Boss: You should have been here at 8 .
Me: Why, what happened at eight?
