Playgroup.

Mia was so proud of herself, being able to balance on these things.  and she even managed to do a little shuffling walk with them too.

Another very hot day, it reached 34c.

We spent a lot of time outside at playgroup.  But the shade sail that is usually over the sand pit, had got damaged in the last storm.  So after an initial play in it, it just got too hot to stay in.

But there were lots of other things.  Including trays of uncooked rice, which the girls spent ages playing with.  And water, as always.

After a while we went inside, into the air-con, which was lovely, and spent some time in there.

When we came home, we had some lunch, then back out into the garden, for more water play.

At one point Mia picked up Sparkles (their puppy) and dumped her in the paddling pool.  She didn't seem to mind at all.

They spent ages playing with her, chasing her around, and then her chasing them around.  They kept pouring water on her, but as it was so hot, I don't think she minded.

In fact, it got so hot at mid-day, we actually brought her inside the house, where it was cooler.  She lay down in the dining room.  Probably, glad to be on the cool tiles.
