A Cluster

This is such a pretty and very unusual rose, called Julia’s Rose, a David Austin .....its softly brown with tinge of musky pink.  Hard to grow and has to be nurtured along.  This year it is flowering rather nicely.

We are currently experiencing a thunder storm, ....its been going on for an hour and a half and isn't letting up at all.  The best thing about is it is raining, so thankful after these drying winds that we have been having.  It can move on now, I'm not enjoying seeing the lighting, both sheet and fork followed by the extremely loud claps of thunder. But it seems it is loath to leave us just yet.  And whats more, our spouting is has holes in it, obviously from the awful hail storm while we were away.  *loud sigh*.
Now that it is getting dark, the light show is quite spectacular.

The wind has howled all day, much to strong to bike and even walk.  I've been gardening at times, but the gusts got so bad I had to come inside, hate them.

Have a happy weekend everyone.  Thinking always of the folk affected by the terrible fires in Australia.....we had a lengthy Facetime with our Ozzie family last night, there are fires up their way but nothing to to bad.

Rainie
