Mt Cook

We only stopped twice on our return journey home, once to see if the deer were in a place that I could photograph - done and in extra.  The other on the shores of Lake Pukaki, whilst Mt Cook (3497 meters) was mainly obscured by cloud I like the lower reaches and the clouds appealed.  Mono seemed to suit.
We were home by 4.30 this afternoon, unpacked and laundry done.
Another very cruisy day - long and leisurely breakfast, we then all sat outside in the lovely warm conditions for the remainder of the morning.....then as we had so much beautiful foods left over from our scrumptious dinner last night we just did a reheat and rearrange and had that sitting at the outdoor table.  Bliss.
Tidied up, packed up then a cup of coffee before we hit the road for home.

We have had such a wonderful and special three days with friends,  making memories.
