Now all I want is rain...

Just 10 inches spread over the next few weeks would be a good start. Bob has hooked up this tank, we only have a narrow space so this is only small. The plumber quoted over $5k so we did it ourselves.

Woke to smoky conditions this morning which made breathing uncomfortable. The fires are so big they don’t think they can put them out without decent rain. I spent the day putting more mulch down, the ground is like concrete (or just dust) so trying to get water on is not easy. I save every drop from the house and bucket it out. Poor NZ is getting too much rain now. I think Mother Nature is sending us a message.
