Derelict Farm

This circular(ish) byre and adjoining farm building has been slowly falling into disrepair for decades. It's such a shame but there must be a reason for allowing it to deteriorate. I noticed when I was out walking last week that it now has heras fencing round it so it must really be on its last legs. Thought it had better be a blip before it is just a pile of stone and rafters. Thanks to Marlieske for hosting the derelict challenge.

There has been rain (see extra of the entrance to the field). Flora and I were muddy, soaked and cold but we did about an hour's walk in the showers and more persistent rain so it's time for home-based activities now.
