An ordinary life....

Backblipped

All good things must come to an end so we were up and out of the lodge by 10am.

Said goodbye to the little ducks who came to say hello every morning, then headed home, stopping at the Chattan Tearoom in Birnam to have breakfast.  What a treat that was.

Agnes and Adrian were heading straight home so we hugged and said goodbye and I made arrangements to meet Agnes at the Maker's Market we are going to together to sell our wares (Agnes her jewellery and me my paintings and Christmas cards.)

We got home just after 1pm to a very busy house.

The painters were washing up and happy to tell us that our bedroom is finished.  David sneaked up for a look and returned with a huge smile on his face so I heaved a sigh of relief.  It's always a tense moment when you see the wallpaper you've chosen from a small sample on two full walls.

The ensuite is (as expected) nowhere near finished but it's a work in progress.  Two weeks late in starting, I hope it's finished in time for Christmas as we're in the front room and the other spare room is full of stuff from our bedroom, and we'll need the spare rooms over the festive period!

Alan was full of the joys.  He said he didn't miss us but did let me steal a kiss.  I stole three :-))

Got unpacked and David went to collect Lola from Evelyn.  Got lots of cuddles from her :-))
