Invasion

I came across this tree and thought I had photographed it already and when I checked I had blipped this tree before in the snow. At that time I was unaware that knotweed was an invasive species and the problems it can cause. It is dense and apparently eradicates everything in its shadow.

I still like the shape of the tree and this time the knotweed creates a bright orange background for the tree. At least it's good for something.
