Blue sky lunch

Such a change from the weekend wetness. Glorious blue skies and sun today though not without a cold wind.
We had our ATN sing this morning but as a fundraising coffee morning. We left straight after to meet up with our ‘friends from the north’  in Harrogate.
They came down yesterday for a tea dance so we took the opportunity to exchange festive greetings and presents over lunch today before they return home.
This place has become our venue of choice for meeting up with them for lunch, we always seem to get the same table in the conservatory by the Christmas tree (though we have visited at other times of year.) Summer or winter there are always Red Kites to be seen wheeling around here. They looked particularly good today against the clear sky. You can just see them above the inn in the first shot.
Last choir rehearsal before the Carol Service next week, time is really flying along through Advent.
