Eating the plantain seed heads

Another frustrating day at work. Every bed full on arriving at work. Every person identified by some staff as fit to be discharged, were seen as not ready to leave by others. Requests for admission unable to be granted, and what is meant to be an acute ward is functioning as a long stay ward.

So when I got home, it was good to head down to Western Springs Lake for a walk with my camera.  Was pleased to see a pair of Eastern Rosellas feeding on the grass . One (the female I think) flew off immediately I stopped, but returned to rejoin the male, which is the closer to the camera in my photo.
