Contributing to Christmas

Seeing as we're spending Christmas here this year, I've been nagging nicely asking Mike to make a star to go above our house that can be seen from the main road. So I was thrilled to see this as I walked home from town this afternoon. I had the honour of turning on the lights as dusk fell, but you'll have to wait for another Blip to see that, as I only have one extra left. Can't wait to see it from the road when we go to Évora tomorrow... (The pattern is the wire fence I was seeing it through.)

Gratefuls:
- a husband who humours me
- waking in the night to see, from my little window, the almost full moon shining over misty olive trees
- rippling red sunset making our whole west wall pink
