Christmas Lunch at my home today. It’s 7pm and we have just disbanded. It has been a lovely afternoon.

We each brought a wrapped gift for the Kriskindl - value no more than 10 euros and had to be home made, non massed produced and beautiful. I picked this dreamcatcher which was bought in Canada and made by an indigenous group of native Canadians.

My daughter who lives in London and works as a vet joined the Labour Party there. She studied Vet Science in Edinburgh for 3 years but returned to Dublin to complete her final 2 years after the death of her Dad.

She is passionate about the NHS and has been canvassing on doorstops in its support (in her true Dub accent).

I have just been talking to her at 7.05pm as she comes off an 11 hour shift as she is on the metro to Stoke Newbury to cast her vote. She has an insurance number and pays tax so she is eligible to vote.

Democracy at its best

Good girl
