Good day out

We'd pencilled in a trip to Tyndrum to do a recce for our 6/12hr race in 5 weeks and the forecast looked promising so off we went.
Some beautifully lit landscapes on the way there (but not in stopping places) and cool, bright and dry when we arrived. The run route is a nearly 5 mile loop with ups and downs on some rough tracks and some smooth, and great views from the smooth bit. I didn't take a camera with me (will do so on run day if the weather's okay) but I now know where the photo opportunities are.
Once done we had lunch at The Real Food Cafe, tasty, and then walked 3 miles northish on the West Highland Way. There were great views over to Stob Gobhar and surroundings that improved as the sun dropped, this being the last of the sun on the hills.
The extra shows a sign we tried, unsuccessfully, to obey!
