Last Day in Santa Fe

The sky was quite spectacular this afternoon - dark clouds scudding by in the sky with sun breaks illuminating the landscape. My sister drove me up to the Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe, thinking we might find some interesting views with the dark clouds in the background. I was particularly interested in how the Cottonwoods were highlighted against the dark sky.

I took the extra in the adjacent Santa Fe National Veteran’s Cemetery. It it a humbling and somber place. I was intrigued by the precision of the rows of graves and saddened by the immense loss that the cemetery represents.
