I started with back-to-back Zoom meetings this morning at 8:30 am. Terrific meetings, but I really get antsy after an hour or so. At 11:00 I had to leave that meeting to go to my hair appointment - what a pleasure that my hairdresser has figured out how to cut hair as safely as possible! Got home just in time for a doc appointment by Zoom and finally more botanical garden stuff. Way too much time at my desk today.
I managed to get out for a nice long 2 mile walk very late this afternoon. It was dark by the time I got home and rather damp and chilly. But it felt great to walk. This blip is interesting....this tree is on the corner of two streets not far from where I live. The street light, as you can see, goes right up into the middle of the tree. The very interesting thing is that the light is affecting the leaves on the tree. For instance, you'll notice the only leaves left on the tree are around the light. Earlier this fall, those leaves stayed green as the other leaves were turning yellow. I'll have to notice what it does in the spring. Curious though...I'm sure that the tree is reacting to the light being on all night. At any rate, I thought it made a rather interesting photo!
