LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!

Let it snow

Another great night out in Thyme Out last night, nice atmosphere and great food.  Late night for Grange, we didn't get home until 9.00 pm!!!!!   Switched on and watched the recording we'd made of Strictly.

Wow a great show last night, very little to choose between them.  My favourite didn't win and I was slightly disappointed with that but all were good anyway.  I won't say who in case anyone hasn't watched it yet.

Left for Mum's in Morecambe at about 10.00 am this.  Could see lots of snow over The Dales and Pennines in the distance.  Although there was no snow in Grange as we joined the A590 at the Grange Roundabout there was quite a lot, amazing.  It looked so beautiful.  I tried getting photos from the car but they weren't really very good.

As we arrived in Carnforth the snow became less and less and by the time we'd got to Morecambe there wasn't any.  Never mind I thought we'll drive by Morecambe Prom on the way home and get some photos of the snowy Lake District in the distance!!!

Had a lovely few hours at Mum's, lunch and catch up.   Came away about 2 to so I could get those photos!!  WRONG - you could barely see the Lake District mountains due to cloud and greyness *sigh*.  Oh well never mind another time may be.

Stopped off at the layby in Milnthorpe, by the Dallam Estate and took this photo.  Not sure which one to use as the main photo.  See extras for the other choices.

Now to prepare some carrots, cucumber and celery as dips for the Jacob's Joint lunch after Tai Chi tomorrow.

Hope you are all well.  Stay safe, warm and dry and see you all tomorrow.

Thank you all so much for continuing to drop by and for all your lovely comments, stars and hearts - they are really very much appreciated.
