A SPLASH OF COLOUR

A very rainy day today and we didn't go out anywhere as there was a lot to do indoors.  I noticed a splash of colour in our small front garden so dashed out a got a very soggy picture of the decaying primula.  Although past their best, they still have a tiny splash of yellow for this time of year.  The extra are just buds from our camelias.

Everything wrapped, cards written and posted, except for neighbours cards so sitting back and enjoying the Christmas run down.  As our friend goes back to Edinburgh next Tuesday, before my next visitor arrives just three days later we sat and watched my annual favourite - A Christmas Carol.  This year it was the best ever version called Scrooge starring the late great Alistair Sim (that of course is just in my humble opinion).
