Christmas Jumper

I did mention some time ago, in a blip featuring the Flumlet covered in sticky balls, that I might blip the adaptation I made as an alternative.

This Christmas jumper came with the snowflake, treetrunk and star sequins in place but the tree  itself was plain; the set of coloured balls with velcro attached were meant to be chucked on at random as the decoration.

I considered this to be neither attractive nor practical and set about decorating it in the manner of my blip name, flumgummery, which means 'unnecessarily fussy'. Or maybe fussily unnecessary. It is also similar to the Advent trees I made for the kids all those years ago.

One disadvantage is that it is too over-the-top to be worn on more serious occasions, so, having worn it during the nativity service this morning, when such jumpers were encouraged, I changed into something more sober for the carols and communion service this evening. And that's probably its last wearing this year.
