Carols at Felbrigg

A morning ironing and making mince pies, while Jon tidied the lounge. Dan went out mid morning, Henry had a driving lesson, and Jon had two hours bag packing with the scouts in Cromer.

Once Jon was home, and Henry too, we walked over to Felbrigg, which is about a 20 minute walk up our lane, then across a farmers field and through some woodland to the estate. It is a lovely walk, although today we had to hurry as we were late for the carols. There we enjoyed the Sheringham and Cromer Brass band playing Christmas carols and songs. Very well attended we couldn't get very close, although I did squeeze myself to the front towards the end. Then we had a look in the shop, enjoyed a hot chocolate before a walk back home in the dark.

A nice Christmassy end to our weekend, and apart from the fact that I'm at work tomorrow I'm feeling quite festive. More baking planned for Tuesday, but mainly chilling and relaxing. Off for my bath now, and then looking forward to A Christmas Carol part 1 at 9pm.
