A deer for today

I have posted only one or two deer blips since early in February. Once the snow melts, the deer don't come as close to the trails. We still see them and will continue to until their food supply becomes plentiful, but we don't see them as often as during the heavy snows.

I just heard on TV that we had over 70 inches of snow in the first half of our winter (before Feb. 4) and only slightly more than six inches since. Why? He said it is because of the winds aloft or something like that. They've moved, so the snow went elsewhere. Canada maybe? Or New England? I have to admit, I miss it. I like snow until mid-March. Then I expect instant spring! HA!...like that will happen.

I back blipped: Leftover leaf and Erosion.
